Gosset Matchmakers 2023
CHAMPAGNE GOSSET INVITES YOU TO ENTER GOSSET MATCHMAKERS, A FOOD AND WINE PAIRING COMPETITION FOR RISING CHEFS AND SOMMELIERS.
The competition, now in its eighth year, represents the pinnacle of Champagne and gastronomy pairing. This year’s competition will, once again, attract the very best contestants, in a continued partnership with Le Cordon Bleu London with new 2023 partners The Sommelier Edit and London Wine Fair.
The competition recognises and awards up-and-coming sommelier and chef partnerships who create perfect food and wine pairings in restaurants and other eateries all over the country.
This year Champagne Gosset continues to set the bar high, with a challenge to create one innovative dish to match with one of Gosset’s fine champagnes, Gosset Grand Rosé. Entrants must use Gosset Grand Rosé, ensuring the champagne is a perfect match with the creation they choose to present.
The winners of the competition receive an all expenses paid visit to Champagne Gosset’s headquarters in Epernay and the title of Gosset Matchmaker 2023.

HOW IT WORKS
Gosset Matchmakers is a competition for rising chefs and sommeliers with fewer than five years professional experience.
Teams are invited to submit an imaginative and innovative food pairing with Gosset Grand Rosé.
Five finalists will be invited to Cord by Le Cordon Bleu to prepare and present their pairing. On the day they will be asked to respond to a mystery wine and box of ingredients to create a second dish to further demonstrate their creativity and ability to work as a team under pressure.
